Early-rising coffee lovers were given an extra boost this morning thanks to the launch of the new open world, action-adventure game MAFIA III and Vinnie Jones.
The former footballer and Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels star was at Central London’s TimberYard coffee shop serving up a taste of 1960’s with their gunpowder infused coffee at the price of just 10p, the price of a cup of coffee in 1968.
The mighty mobster-style punch in the coffee was down to the creation of renowned food architects and inventors, Bompas and Parrs who specifically created the Mafia III -inspired ingredient. Served in empty bullet cartridges, the gunpowder ingredient is said to enhance the effect of the caffeine in your coffee.
The game is set in New Bordeaux, a reimagined New Orleans during 1968. It follows the story of Lincoln Clay- a disenfranchised Vietnam veteran returning from combat who is betrayed by the Italian mob, and becomes fixated on revenge and wages a brutal war against the Italians, disrupting the balance of power in the seedy underworld New Bordeaux.
Mafia III is available from today, October 7, 2016 for Playstation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC and is a PEGI 18 rated game.
