Swedish brand Happy Socks has collaborated with world renowned artist and former model Ellen Von Unwerth in what can only be described as a creative explosion of colour and vibrancy.
The fall/winter 2016 campaign features bombshell Stella Maxwell as a 1950’s housewife in a colourful photoshoot of 12 pictures and a video which is guaranteed to make you feel happy and wanting new socks.
Models Eva doll and Cody Saintgnue join her in the short movie called ‘The Sock Swipe’ where they play a pair of thieves who manages to swipe Stella’s socks from the washing line.
We couldn’t expect anything less from this collaboration of fun and beauty, Ellen Von Unwerth has previously created campaigns for Agent Provocateur, Chantal Thomas, Victoria’s Secret, Tommy Hilfiger, MAC Cosmetics, Baccarat, Moet & Chandon, Cointreau, Veuve Cliquot, Absolut, H&M, Lacoste, L’Oreal, Dior, Diesel, Kenzo, Miu Miu as well as a series of advertisement for HBO’s Sex And The City, both the series and the film.
Having been a model herself, she obviously knows how to get the best possible shots. Add a mega model to all this experience and creativity and you are bound to get the perfect campaign, especially when Stella Maxwell is known for her cool style and amazing presence in front of the camera.
Happy Socks started in the Spring of 2008, with two friends who had a vision to spread happiness by turning everyday essentials into colourful design pieces.
Today Happy Socks products, socks and underwear are sold in more than 70 countries on every continent.
